WAJ Obtains Voluntary Dismissal of Client

WAJ is pleased to have taken a client from default to dismissal. Thinking the assertions were a scam, a Horry County business did not timely respond to service of process upon it. After the business realized default had been entered against it, WAJ was retained to defend that business against the lawsuit. Utilizing a quick investigation and sound legal argument, WAJ was able to present evidence that the claims against its client lacked merit. Even though the business had technically admitted the claims against it via default rules, WAJ was still able to secure a voluntary dismissal of those claims after only about six weeks.
