Spencer Barrow is an Associate in the firm’s Spartanburg office. His practice focuses on defending complex civil cases in state and federal courts across South Carolina and North Carolina, primarily representing companies, executives, and professionals in the aviation, construction, and maritime industries. Spencer has served as a member of WAJ's trial team in multiple cases, including cases tried to verdict, and he has been instrumental in securing victories for the Firm's clients at trial and on appeal. Spencer's practice areas include appellate practice, aviation litigation, business and commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage and litigation, product liability litigation, and real estate litigation.
Spencer earned his law degree in 2018 from the University of Georgia School of Law. At Georgia Law, Spencer received several awards and scholarships in recognition of his academic excellence, and he served as both a Notes Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law and the Closing Argument Director of the Mock Trial Executive Board. In addition, Spencer was one of few law students selected for membership in the E. Wycliffe Orr, Sr. American Inn of Court. Prior to attending law school, Spencer graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business with a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.B.A. in Management.
Spencer lives in Greenville with his wife, the former Hailey R. Wilson of Spartanburg, and lives in Greenville. Apart from practicing law, he enjoys fly fishing, golf, and trying to master the Big Green Egg.
